What you will do
Material Operations Specialist will manage and provide support across multiple areas of materials supply chain. These include, among other, tracking and reporting of KPIs such as supplier OTIF and inventory metrics, coordinating phase-in/phase-out activities related to portfolio changes, invoice management and reconciliation or support of MRP team’s activities (MRP execution&control, materials delivery schedule). This position will play an important role in coordinating activities across several sites and geographies, ensuring assigned tasks and projects are managed properly and within specified timelines. To achieve the above, he/she will partner and collaborate with stakeholders from various other departments – e.g. Source, Planning, IMO or PMO.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support MRP/MSM and Planning decisions
Drive enhancements of reporting capabilities to improve visibility and accuracy of inventory levels, Days of Supply (DOS), supplier On-Time In-Full (OTIF), and other critical metrics
Slow-moving and Obsolete (SLOB) - responsible for SLOB identification, mitigation and reporting
Manage invoices for designated suppliers, maintaining account integrity and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with Accounts Payable (AP) and MRP teams, while maintaining clear documentation of reconciliation outcomes
Support material planning activities including MRP parameters maintenance, MRP run, confirming delivery schedules with suppliers, proactively identifying and resolving material shortages.
Support phase-in/phase-out initiatives, validating pipeline volume requests and ensuring timely setup of product codes to facilitate seamless transitions
Collaborate with Materials Supply Management (MSM) in the area of supplier performance, improvements and initiatives
Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering responsive support and ensuring cross-functional needs are met effectively
Bring to life and become an ambassador of Kenvue’s behaviors, purpose and values.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Operations or related field or equivalent experience
1-3+ years of experience in Supply chain – Supply Planning background a plus
Proactive and rigorous attitude with solid problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate and present assigned topics in a clear and concise manner and to be able to influence all levels of the organization, in both - written and verbal form
Fluency in English, other languages an advantage
Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel
Working knowledge of Power BI and SAP preferred
