What you will do

What you will do

The Mixing Lead is responsible for supervising in-house operations, establishing personnel schedules and product lines, tracking production orders and schedules, and compiling and submitting data for production and operating reports.   You will also train staff in safety and quality, review work to ensure compliance with standards, and recommend changes to standard operational and working practices to be integrated with people capability building.   Additionally, you will manage costs to improve the business' financial results, administer equipment maintenance and repair, and maintain records and notify management of recurring issues that may require equipment replacement:

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and supervise the mixing team to ensure high-quality output

·       Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve the mixing process

·       Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of audio with visual elements

·       Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audio technology

·       Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster growth and development

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

·       Lead and manage a team of production personnel to ensure maximum quality and output in a manufacturing operation.

·       Establish personnel schedules and product lines based on business needs.

·       Provide input to production flow and identify potential manufacturing issues.

·       Track production orders and schedules and compile and submit data for production and operating reports.

·       Train staff in the areas of safety and quality and review work to ensure compliance with standards.

·       Develop operator capability for building multiple skills

·       Schedule or perform training for all employees and recommend changes to standard operational and working practices.

·       Educate employees and observe to ensure understanding and compliance.

·       Provide input to operational budget and manage costs to improve business' financial results.

·       Administer equipment maintenance and repair and maintain records and notify management of reoccurring issues that may require equipment replacement.

·       Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

·       6-8 years of related experience

·       Associates Degree or Equivalent

·       Strong leadership and communication skills

·       Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members

·       Culture change with operator capability building

Desired Qualifications

·       Expertise in industry-standard software and hardware

·       Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

·       Experience in supervising production operations and personnel

·       Ability to eliminate the non-value-added activities and reduce the process variations with systematic and scientific ways

·       Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards and ability to train staff in these areas

·       Ability to analyze production data and identify potential manufacturing issues

·       Experience in managing operational budgets and costs to improve financial results

·       Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and manage a team
