What you will do

As a National Key Account Manager in the OTC pharmaceutical team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Key Account Managers and KAM associates who are in charge of key network clients and collaborating with pharmaceutical wholesalers. Your main goal will be to achieve sales results by effectively managing relationships and sales strategies in both Sell-in and Sell-out models. We are looking for a visionary leader who can inspire the team and introduce innovative solutions to the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the skills of Key Account Managers and WKAMs to ensure high-quality customer service and achievement of sales goals.
  • Building Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key network clients and pharmaceutical wholesalers to maximize sales performance.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement nationwide sales plans tailored to market specifics and customer needs.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities, identify growth opportunities, and introduce innovations in the sales approach.
  • Cross-departmental/International Collaboration: Coordinate activities with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and research and development to ensure strategic consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Optimization: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and actions taken in managing key clients, as well as propose optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education, preferably in management, marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and key account management in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years of team management experience, particularly in the OTC area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and the team.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate cross-departmental activities.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
