The Operations Sustainability RSPO, EM & Deliver lead is responsible for managing site level RSPO (Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil) activities and enabling sustainable practices with EM (External Manufacturing). You will also be responsible of leading sustainability efforts across the Deliver Value Chain. You will oversee quality control processes, track key performance metrics, and enforce business policies to support cost-effective, sustainable and continuous operations:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the integration of RSPO, EM & Deliver sustainability standards into all operational processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and certification requirements.

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies and cutting-edge monitoring frameworks to enhance sustainable sourcing, production practices, and sustainability performance tracking across the supply chain and manufacturing functions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost-effective operational improvements focused on reducing environmental impact, improving resource efficiency, and aligning with evolving sustainability regulations and market expectations.

  • Champion stakeholder engagement by fostering collaborative partnerships with suppliers, regulatory bodies, internal teams, and internal/external auditors to promote and manage sustainability goals and compliance efforts.

  • Provide leadership, training programs, and workshops to embed a sustainability culture and best practices within operational teams, ensuring adherence to RSPO standards.

  • Partner with Procurement, R&D & Quality to ensure full alignment between operations processes and initiatives with sustainability strategies.

  • Utilize data analytics and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for reducing environmental footprint and enhancing resource efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental stewardship.

  • Coordinate and champion initiatives to integrate sustainability related topic within External Manufacturing leveraging best practices and key learnings from Kenvue operations

  • Lead development of planning to outline strategic objectives, key initiatives, and drive execution of Healthy Lives Sustainability workstreams and projects to streamline and prioritize resources, and connect efforts across the Deliver Value Chain

  • Partner closely with key functional and regional implementation teams to establish clear strategic project objectives, clarify roles and responsibilities, monitor, and evaluate progress

  • Develop and maintain progress dashboards in metrics at a Deliver Value Chain level in support of the broader supply chain function with yearly and quarterly milestones as applicable

  • Manage execution of key projects related to product transparency glidepath and milestones

  • Work with key internal partners, such as Environmental Sustainability, Marketing, Customer development, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Communications, and Public Affairs to identify resource needs and gaps

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree. Master’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field strongly preferred.

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in sustainability management, operations management, or environmental management systems.

  • Proven expertise in implementing, managing, or working within RSPO certification frameworks and environmental management systems.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary or cross-functional teams and manage complex projects related to sustainability and operational excellence.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with RSPO is preferred

  • Proven expertise in designing and executing sustainability strategies that integrate seamlessly with complex operational processes.

  • Exceptional ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels to achieve sustainability objectives.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sustainability reporting tools, data interpretation, and impact assessment methodologies.

  • Experience in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability and operational efficiency.

  • Demonstrated experience in navigating regulatory landscapes and ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards.

  • Innovative mindset with a track record of implementing creative solutions that drive operational excellence and environmental stewardship.· Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to environmental management and sustainable production.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$153,850.00 - $217,200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
