What you will do

The Production planning manager for Smoking Cessation is responsible for managing the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing, implementing production planning policies, and analyzing production specifications to meet business goals:


**Key Responsibilities**
• Develop and implement production planning strategies specifically tailored for Smoking Cessation products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans
• Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to optimize production processes for Smoking Cessation products
• Lead and mentor a team of production planners to drive efficiency and innovation in the production process
• Continuously evaluate and improve production planning systems to meet the unique demands of Smoking Cessation products
• Lead the development and execution of production planning strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative production planning policies, standards, and procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies in all production planning activities
• Oversee and approve production scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products
• Utilize advanced analytical tools to analyze production specifications, plant capacity data, and optimize manufacturing processes
• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain production schedules and meet business goals
• Establish a seamless connection between marketing/sales demand, manufacturing capacity, and revenue plans
• Present comprehensive production planning reports to management and provide actionable solutions for potential production issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability and resource utilization
• Manage operational budget effectively, review customer order records, and address backorder issues promptly
• Resolve complex problems and customer complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Participate in strategic new product launch meetings and contribute to new product forecasts as a key business partner

What we are looking for


**Required Qualifications**


• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management or Operations
• 8-10 years of experience in production planning within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated 8-10 years of experience in sales, operations, trade, and category management roles
• Proven track record of successfully managing production planning processes for complex products
• Proven track record of strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex business data
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/initiatives effectively
• Experience working in a matrix environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in syndicated data analysis and communication of insights
