Fully OnsiteWhat you will do
- Manages the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing through subordinate planners and schedulers.
- Develops and implements production planning policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.
- Maintains compliance with company policies in regards to all safety and.
- Approves production scheduling. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, material, personnel and tools.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Provides a closed loop connection between marketing/sales stated demand, manufacturing capacity/build plans, and the total revenue plan.
- Submits production planning report to management and develops solutions to address the potential production problems.
- Analyzes results and initiates appropriate action to meet business goals.
- Improves profitability through process improvements and utilization of resources.
- Manages operational bud.
- Reviews customer order records and backorder issues.
- Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints.
- Participates in new product launch meetings and new product forecasts as a business partner.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in plant planning or related field
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Engineering or relevant field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages for data analysis and process optimization
- Experience with software development methodologies
- Proven track record of successfully managing plant planning operations and leading teams
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing solutions in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide constructive feedback
