What you will do

The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring project and program schedules, budgets, procedures, and revenues are met by leading cross-functional teams, monitoring project status, and maintaining communication with senior management.


Key Responsibilities


•    Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
•    Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion within budget and timeline constraints
•    Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise
•    Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on progress
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals
•    Lead the development of user requirements specifications in alignment with project objectives and customer needs
•    Identify and communicate resource gaps to senior management for timely resolution
•    Provide expertise in specialized processes to enhance project outcomes
•    Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration with various departments throughout project lifecycle
•    Address coordination issues proactively and escalate as needed
•    Collaborate with local regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
•    Utilize technical knowledge to optimize equipment maintenance systems, calibration standards, and documentation control in a regulated manufacturing environment
 
What we are looking for


Required Qualifications


•    University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in related fields of Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering
•    Solid previous experience in project management, demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects

•    Solid previous experience as people leader

•    Advanced/Fluent in English
•    Background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis
•    Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in project development and industrial technologies
•    Proven working experience as a project administrator in the Cosmetic or Liquids sector
•    Familiarity with ANVISA, GMP, ISO, and PMBOOK standards
•    Understanding of qualification and validation methodologies
•    Experience in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions

•    Availability to work 100% onsite in São José dos Campos


Desired Qualifications


•    PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus 
•    Possess Lean certification or Six Sigma as Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus
