What You Will Do
As the NPD Project Manager for India, you will play a critical role in driving growth, profitability, and business continuity across the India market. You will lead initiatives spanning inter-affiliate (cross-region) supply as well as in-region project execution aligned with India leadership priorities.
This role is central to orchestrating end-to-end collaboration across cross-functional teams—including Value Stream, Commercial, IMO Leadership, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain—to ensure seamless execution of New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.
As part of the India Innovation and Supply Chain Excellence team, you will act as a key enabler of the Consumer Business Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment from project approval through successful completion, partnering across Supply Chain, manufacturing sites (internal and external), Integrated Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Commercial Marketing, and Quality Assurance
Drive robust project risk assessment and management across all stages of the SPEED (Smart Project Execution & Delivery) framework
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project feasibility, define Final Project Objectives (FPO), evaluate investments and resource requirements, and develop detailed execution plans and timelines
Proactively identify and communicate scope changes (“trigger events”) to senior leadership, along with clear recommendations and alternative solutions
Conduct forward-looking analysis to identify acceleration opportunities and strengthen the overall business case, considering end-to-end impacts across Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver—both short and long term
Facilitate and lead core team meetings, ensuring strong communication, alignment, and collaboration across all stakeholders
Anticipate risks early and lead the development of mitigation strategies to safeguard project commitments while minimizing business and supply chain impact. Escalate issues in a timely manner with clear options and recommendations
Ensure strict adherence to governance frameworks, providing regular updates and escalation reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.

Position Requirements:
