What You Will Do 

The Finance Master Data SFA (Supervisory Formula Approach)  is responsible for overseeing the execution of daily operations such as accurately maintaining cost centers, profit centers, general ledger, exchange rates, etc. needed by the business for all regions. You will design and manage data workflows, as well as drive robust data quality and compliance with internal and external data regulations, policies, and procedures. Your work will play a key role in supporting the Kenvue Operations organization and Digital Transformation.

Master Data Operations & Governance

  • Lead and oversee daily Finance Master Data operations, ensuring timely creation, maintenance, and approval of GL Accounts, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Internal Orders (Non‑Fixed Assets), Exchange Rates, Intercompany Vendors/Customers, and other finance master data objects in compliance with Global DTPs and Data Governance standards.

  • Enforce data quality controls by reviewing, validating, and approving master data requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with policy.

  • Manage MDG run‑state operations, guaranteeing seamless execution of end‑to‑end finance master data workflows across all objects.

Quality, Controls & Risk Management

  • Proactively identify and resolve recurring data errors, root causes, and process gaps; implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Uphold strong internal controls, ensuring all activities comply with internal audit standards, external audit requirements, and SOX controls where applicable.

  • Mitigate operational and data‑related risks by monitoring exceptions, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing timely remediation.

  • Ensure documentation is complete, current, and audit‑ready, including DTPs, work instructions, access matrices, and risk controls.

People Leadership & Performance Management

  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members to enhance technical mastery, service quality, and process ownership.

  • Perform regular performance reviews, provide continuous feedback, and support competency development.

  • Oversee system access management, ensuring timely provisioning, deactivation, and periodic access reviews for the team.

Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Regional Finance, Controllership, Data Quality Teams, and IT to ensure accurate data integration and flow into downstream systems.

  • Act as subject matter expert on finance master data for inquiries, escalations, and process decision-making.

  • Support statutory, internal, and external audits by coordinating data extracts, walkthroughs, and evidence submissions.

Reporting & Month-End Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end master data activities, including validations required for period close.

  • Meet all corporate and regional reporting deadlines related to master data metrics, controls, and service KPIs.

Continuous Improvement & Project Support

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance data quality, and reduce cycle times.

  • Participate in and support projects related to system upgrades (SAP, MDG), transformations, migrations, or process harmonization efforts.

  • Recommend automation and standardization opportunities, collaborating with IT and process excellence teams.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in RTR/ATR, Finance Master Data, or related finance process.

  • Experience working in a Shared Services Center or multinational environment preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of finance master data objects, structures, and dependencies.

  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, R2R processes, and internal controls.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to solve problems and mitigate risks.

  • Proven ability to identify process gaps, propose solutions, and drive completion.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.

  • Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.

  • Experience in coaching, supervising, or developing team members is an advantage.

Desired Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with SAP, MDG, S4/HANA, or similar ERP systems.

  • Working knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., BW, Snowflake, OneStream).

  • Experience leading small teams or managing direct reports.

  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Agile) is a plus.
