Role Overview

The Manager, Intelligent Automation & Agentic AI is a strategic technology and people leader responsible for delivering scalable AI and automation solutions that drive measurable business value across the Finance organization. This role blends product ownership, value realization, and business partnership with direct people leadership, resource planning, and operational management. The role is accountable for both outcomes and capability-building, ensuring intelligent automation becomes a sustainable, enterprise asset.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

AI & Product Ownership: Own and manage a portfolio of integrated AI and Automation products aligned to Finance and enterprise business partners. Translate business strategies into comprehensive AI and automation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, data & analytics strategy, security, and compliance requirements.
 

Business Partnership & Use Case Identification: Partner closely with Finance leaders, Global Process Owners, and regional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across value streams. Assess and prioritize use cases based on impact to revenue, cost reduction, productivity, employee and customer experience, risk, and compliance.
 

End-to-End Delivery & Value Realization: Lead delivery across a full lifecycle including process discovery, feasibility analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Define, track, and report KPIs and value realization metrics at least quarterly, partnering with Finance and T&D Experience teams to ensure accuracy, transparency, and realized benefits.
 

People, Resource & Vendor Management: Directly manage and develop a team of AI professionals, including performance management, coaching, and skills development. Plan for future capability and capacity needs, manage budgets, and oversee third-party vendors or managed service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality delivery.
 

Technology Enablement & Innovation: Drive adoption of intelligent automation, agentic AI and data science capabilities. This includes robotic process automation, process & task mining, AI Agents (Co Pilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, other) and advanced analytics/data science models. Ensures that solutions are scalable, reusable, secure, and resilient while continuously identifying opportunities to modernize and optimize the automation ecosystem.
 

Operational Excellence & Governance: Establish and monitor service levels, delivery standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent execution and operational reliability. Prepare and present clear, executive-ready updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences.
 

Community of Practice & Enterprise Alignment: Actively contribute to AI Community of Practice. Collaborate with Automation and Strategy leaders globally to align work to enterprise OKRs, promote reuse, and enable cross-regional synergies and integrated program management.
 

Required Qualifications
 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
 

Experience: 10-12 years of experience in intelligent automation, AI, digital transformation, or technology product management roles, including demonstrated people management or team leadership experience. Experience leading Intelligent Automation, Data Science, and Agentic AI initiatives in Finance and Supply Chain domains is preferred.
 

Technical Expertise: Experience leading projects/programs that leverage RPA( UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), Python (Automation-as-Code), Microsoft Power Platform, MS Foundry and MS Copilot. Clear and demonstrated understanding on how to orchestrate the right combination of these capabilities to solve complex business challenges. Familiarity with process intelligence tools including process mining, task mining, and business process management is strongly preferred.
 

Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead both directly and through influence in complex, matrixed, global environments. Experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
 

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, particularly within Finance or shared services environments, with the ability to connect technology initiatives to tangible business outcomes.
 

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences and senior leadership.
