What You Will Do 

Revenue Growth Management (RGM) uses the key levers of price, promotion, and portfolio to drive GP acceleration.

To support our aspiration to accelerate RGM as a core capability within our business, the Revenue Growth Manager

will be responsible for embedding RGM tools and processes, while supporting the implementation of a robust RGM

governance framework across the RAMET cluster. This will involve identifying portfolio optimization actions, pricing

opportunities and promotion / customer investment optimization plans.

This person will support the execution of the RGM tool kit to ensure that we have the most efficient and effective

tools to support the RGM processes. They will be engaging with the regional teams and supporting the cluster

teams to identify how to effectively embed RGM processes within their business rhythm and build awareness of the

role that every member of the team can play in always driving the RGM mindset. They will engage all levels of the

organization in the RGM critical metrics to ensure delivery of the targeted improvements each year.

Candidates will be confident using market data and analytics to shape consumer-led strategies that are commercially viable and will help Kenvue succeed in the marketplace.

As this role involves collaborating with top-level decision-makers, a strong understanding of business operations

(including sales, marketing, strategy, and revenue growth management) and exceptional communication abilities are essential. As this role will be responsible for embedding new processes, the individual will need to coach local teams on the key steps and challenge the teams to develop step-changing plans and proposals. Strong organization and project management capabilities are also required.

Key Responsibilities

Implement the RGM toolkit, ensuring tools are continuously reviewed and evolved to maximise effectiveness

  • Own the RGM toolkit focusing on continuous improvements and enhancements.
  • Drive engagement with the tools through building awareness and strengthening capabilities.
  • Ensure top-down engagement in critical RGM KPIs

Embedding RGM - define the blueprint for how RGM processes should be implemented to ensure continuous review of opportunities to optimise plans and execution

  • Work closely with regional counterparts to help shape the blueprint and work with local team to address
  • needs and processes
  • Support the process of defining what KPIs should be reviewed

Execute the priority areas for TR RGM and co-ordinate the local workstreams

  • Support the RGM implementation plan for RAMET, prioritizing the brands, customers and markets with the
  • biggest impact.
  • Support and coordinate implementation and track the impact generation through the identified RGM initiatives
  • Drive insights generation and utilize the data to make pro-active proposals for execution.
  • Help shape commercially viable strategies driven by consumer insights and focused on driving joint value creation
  • for the company, customer and consumer.
  • Support teams to move from plan to implementation by connecting with internal partners and demonstrating key
  • processes to bring ideas to reality.

Guide teams, supporting capability building, to ensure smooth RGM implementation

  • Assist cross-functional teams on RGM tools and processes and provide structured support embedded RGM

Support local Trade Promotion Management (TPM) implementation

  • Support the cutover planning from legacy systems to new ways of working.
  • Support the implementation of appropriate governance model to support effective rollout.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Marketing, Operations, Analytics or related field
  • Solid understating of customer landscape across South Africa advantageous
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions and teams, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic agility
  • Experience and proven track record in embedding of processes and governance models
  • Experience of both pharmacy and mass market
  • Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams and projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Solid understanding of FMCG industry trends, challenges, and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Solid Analytical experience and track record in analytical thinking
  • Data expertise would be advantageous - Technical and analytical expertise to perform non-automated analyses, develop fresh opinions and methods, as well as core RGM analysis
