The Supply Chain Intern is responsible for working closely with the Analytics and Operations team to ensure that we are meeting customer expectations. This role is responsible for analyzing and reporting on key supply chain metrics such as on time ship and service level. You will also support the development and deployment of business intelligence and analytics capabilities. You will also have the opportunity to lead efforts on process improvements that will contribute to the success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with local, regional and Global business partners to report key performance metrics with high degree of accuracy and reporting frequency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure related systems are maintained and improved.
- Participate in various projects such as new system integrations, product discontinuations and other supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Support the deliver and planning teams on their daily responsibilities
- Participate in ad-hoc projects both within Supply Chain and cross-functionally
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program of Business Administration, Engineering or Science degree program
- Eligible to complete an 8-month co-op term at Markham, Ontario
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel using large data sets, formulas and reporting knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- ERP system knowledge such as SAP
- Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau
- Exposure to Supply Chain Management through work experience or coursework
