What you will do

Please note this is a 3rd shift/Night shift role.

The Supervisor – QA (Operations) ensures compliance within Quality and Manufacturing operations, supervises QA Associates, and supports manufacturing and packaging processes. This role drives compliant resolution of shop floor issues, oversees batch record review and approval, and manages quality metrics reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise QA Associates, providing training, development, and performance management.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, master batch records, and quality/operations procedures.

  • Manage printed materials dispatch/return and Label Room conditions.

  • Review and approve batch records, SOPs, protocols, and CAPAs.

  • Support investigations, change controls, audits, and Annual Product Review contributions.

  • Conduct shop floor visits to reinforce cGMP adherence and escalate critical events.

  • Coordinate metrics reporting, Quality Council participation, and improvement projects.

  • Act as back-up for Senior QA Operations Supervisor when assigned.

  • Promote and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biology, or Engineering.

  • Six or more years of experience, with at least two years in a supervisory QA role.

  • Solid knowledge of GMP, validation, statistical process control, root cause analysis, and risk management.

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) with strong verbal, written, and technical writing skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical solid and liquid dosage, OTC, and controlled product manufacturing/packaging.

  • Knowledge of SAP, MES, and other quality/operations electronic systems.

  • Strong ability to develop and implement quality improvement plans.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$73.950,00 - $104.400,00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
