This position reports into R&D Deployment Senior Manager and is based in Pomezia Santa Palomba.

What you will do

 

As an R&D Deployment Baby Care Intern, you will support the development and reformulation of cosmetic products, primarily focused on the Johnson’s Baby and Aveeno Baby brands. You’ll gain hands-on experience in laboratory activities, formulation, and you’ll support exciting projects, with cross-functional collaboration, contributing to compliance, innovation and cost optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will involve, but not be restricted to, the following activities:

· Develop technical expertise in product design/formulation and manufacturing process

· Execute laboratories activities, for example: reformulation test and learn, sample productions (both screening and GMP samples), support on stability studies, sensory testing.

· Participate in GMP batch manufacturing and documentation in accordance with GxP/GDP standards.

· Collaborate with scientists and project leaders to support project execution and technical documentation

· Connection with end-to-end R&D and manufacturing sites functions defining the execution pathway and ensuring deliverables remain on track

· Draft and execute peer reviewed manuscripts, technical reports · Data collection and analysis, with focus on sensorial attributes like fragrances

· Use of internal AI, digital tools, systems

· Follow standards and quality, medical and regulatory requirements

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment

 

 

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

 

· Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· Master/specialization/thesis in cosmetics/formulation is a plus.

· Strong interest in R&D, formulation, and consumer health products.

· Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and safety standards.

· Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem solving

· Intermediate English (B1-B2 level).

· Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
