What you will do

The R&D Deployment Scientist – Oral Care supports the execution and deployment of projects and activities to enable the commercialization and lifecycle management of oral care products.

Working within a Deployment R&D organization, the scientist contributes to formulation deployment, and technical delivery, ensuring alignment with product, quality, and regulatory requirements.

This is an entry-level professional role, operating with guided autonomy and delivering work with technical rigor, data integrity, and attention to detail, while building expertise in oral care science and applications.

This position focuses on execution and deployment of existing technologies.

What You Will Do

  • Execute product deployment activities across  projects
  • Execute defined activities within technical and consumer learning projects, with guidance from more experienced scientists
  • Develop knowledge in oral care science
  • Build understanding of the mode of action of oral care product performance and efficacy
  • Develop foundational knowledge of oral physiology and common oral conditions, and their relevance to product design, claims, and consumer benefits
  • Apply established scientific methods, ensuring reproducibility, reliability, and technical rigor
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data based on the project
  • D apply test methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures
  • Accurately document procedures, data, and results, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and compliance
  • Contribute to product demonstrations (demos) to illustrate product benefits
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams (R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to support deliverables, timelines, and risks
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation with clarity and scientific accuracy
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with quality, safety, medical, and regulatory standards

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s / PhD degree with no prior industry experience required
  • Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemical or Materials Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience in formulation, preferably in Oral Care, is considered an advantage
  • Fluent written and oral English communication skills

Skills & Experience

  • Foundational knowledge of formulation science and laboratory experimentation
  • Ability to execute work with precision, reproducibility, and strong technical rigor
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful technical insights
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices
  • Proactive mindset with structured problem-solving capability
  • Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional environments
  • Exposure to claims substantiation, demo development, or competitive benchmarking is a plus
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., cGMP) is advantageous
