Regional Inventory Coordinator

Kenvue is currently recruiting a Regional Inventory Coordinator. This position will report into the Regional Leader of Inventory Management, and it is based at São José dos Campos, SP - Brazil.

What will you do 

The Regional Inventory Coordinator role involves overseeing inventory management policies and procedures, ensuring the right balance between service, cost, and inventory within the network. Responsibilities include hitting inventory targets, optimizing supply chain efficiency, managing financial processes, handling SLOB, track optimization projects, inventory reporting and projection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute inventory management policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.
  • Execute the quarterly process of Inventory component calculation (Base + Events) to achieve the most optimal balance of service, inventory and cost within the current network and demonstrated performance.
  • Accountable for setting targets at the Country/Market level and streamlining monthly/quarterly inventory projections
  • Responsible for achieving GI/DOS, NI/DIO and Inventory Health Target.
  • Leads affiliate and plant inventory financial process and target setting/deployment.
  • Sets up and leads SLOB management community of practice across affiliate teams, where SLOB drivers are analyzed and action taken to reduce and avoid SLOB expense.
  • Supports or Executes projects that support the Inventory Optimization Program.
  • Responsible for analytics/reporting on inventory drivers and inventory projections.
  • Provide inventory management input into IBP process to allow for transparency of risks and opportunities.
  • Aligns SC & financial reporting & commentary supporting /IBP and business reporting.

What are we looking for

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years in planning functions is required.
  • Inventory management previous experience is required.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills - ability to manage & manipulate large amounts of data & convert to clear business information.
  • Owner´s Mindset, Organized, conceptual, logical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence others in a matrix environment.
  • Basic understanding of the Finance of Inventory (Net vs. Gross, PII, SLOB/FAA reserves, impact of inventory to P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • Work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and work independently.
  • Ability to effectively lead people.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Intermediate Spanish is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • SAP knowledge.
