What you will do

Sales Controlling Analyst 

The Sales Controlling Analyst is responsible for reviewing and providing on an accurate and timely basis, financial and business analysis, supporting the business through the generation of financial solutions related to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, investments, and consolidations, acting as a key enabler to drive business decisions. Develop a strong relationship with BUF and sales teams, being a trusted business partner and ensure compliance accomplishment.  

This position reports into Sales Controlling Supervisor and is based at Cali or Bogotá, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Finance business partner and support commercial decisions for Emerging Channels 

  • Challenge business assumptions, developing alternative scenarios and educating business partners on financial concepts, profitability and compliance mindset 

  • Monitor financial performance metrics of sales and customers’ investments against budget and prepare monthly financial reports and related analysis 

  • Actively participate in forecast processes and challenge teams to anticipate Risks and opportunities and develop action plans to drive budget accomplishment 

  • Interact with commercial team, supply chain, shopper, RGM and trade marketing teams to support and drive the best decision making for the business. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Sales and Finance teams 

  • Ensure compliance accomplishment and follow ups, monitoring and developing required SOX controls 

 

 

What We Are Looking For  

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, and other careers related 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in Finance (sales controlling, marketing controlling, FP&A and others related) 

  • Proficiency on Microsoft Excel (Required) 

  • Advanced English level

  • Strong business sense and ability to identify business drivers behind financial numbers 

  • Drive communication across different levels of the organization, acting as team player
