What you will do

Fixed Term – 12 Month Contract

As Senior Brand Manager, this person will be part of the Business Unit team and is responsible for leading brand strategy adaption on different brands from Global and Regional Marketing Teams, translating this to vibrant in-market activation across Australia and New Zealand. In addition, this person will build and harness the power of a cross functional team to align behind objectives and win in-market to deliver sales, share and profit targets. They will lead the development of a strong marketing team coaching and managing where relevant.

Growth Planning and Innovation

  • Shape and deliver need state 3YOP and growth plan and drive growth inline with this
  • Build brand innovation pipelines leveraging global product concepts and local commercial innovation on claims and packaging

Strategy & Execution

  • Deliver market leading IMC briefs to enable strong E2E campaign delivery embedding HCP/shopper/digital first
  • Grow our brand equities unlocking the power of the brand position, core insight and target audience measured through brand equity tracking

Financial and Business Acumen

  • Recommends portfolio level targets for FBP, JU and NU and align latest LE across functions ensuring robustness of assumptions
  • Leverage marketplace and competitive learnings to create new business opportunities and anticipate business threats

Talent & Capability

  • Create a culture of coaching within and across teams by supporting training delivery and role modelling leadership imperatives

Market Requirements

  • Work with regional partners to deliver strategy/execution work in market

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field with a strong foundation in brand management principles.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in brand management within FMCG context.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative brand strategies that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and guiding business partners through complex processes.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiation skills.
