What you will do

The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for evaluating demand from internal customers and preparing comprehensive demand plans to align supply with business needs. You will facilitate forecast discussions, manage forecasting systems, analyze trends, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy to support inventory and business objectives.

The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for:

  • Developing SKU-level operational forecasts for Neutrogena, Aveeno, and Clean & Clear Face Care products within the Skin Health portfolio via coordination of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes using SAP Demand Planning functionality.

  • Interacting regularly with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Customer Strategy, Sales Operations, CPFR, Finance, & Supply Planning and will analyze historical order and shipment data, current POS trends, trade inventory data, and promotional activity information to develop the best possible demand plans for new and existing products.

  • Quantifying and communicating forecast gaps leading cross-functional forecast reviews in accordance with the IBP process standards and maintaining responsibilities for MAPE and Forecast Accuracy metrics and to identify areas of improvement.

  • Integral member of the Neutrogena squad, leading supply chain inventory/SLOB analytics, shaping portfolio optimization, and participating in squad activities

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.

  • A minimum of 4 years business experience is required.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel (i.e., vLookups, pivot tables) is required.

  • The ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives and work independently while demonstrating initiative is required.

  • The ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist is required.

  • This position will be based in Skillman, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic travel.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the Consumer industry or other FDA regulated industry is preferred.

  • APICS certification is preferred.

  • Lean, Six-Sigma or Process Excellence training and/or certification is preferred.

  • 2 years of experience in supply chain management or supporting supply chain preferably manufacturing, distribution, customer service and/or planning is preferred.

  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP is preferred.

  • Forecasting experience is preferred.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$90,100.00 - $127,200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
