What you will do

The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for analyzing market trends and sales data to accurately forecast demand. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Demand Planning & Forecast Management

  • Develop accurate SKU‑level operational forecasts for assigned product portfolios using Demand Planning Systems and IBP processes.

  • Analyze historical demand, shipment trends, POS data, trade inventory, and promotional activities to create reliable forecasts for both new and existing products.

  • Lead cross‑functional forecast reviews, quantify forecast gaps, and ensure alignment with IBP standards.

  • Own and improve key forecasting performance metrics, including MAPE and Forecast Accuracy, through continuous root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Monitor demand trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide data‑driven insights to support decision‑making.

Integrated Business Planning & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Drive the local Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and ensure full integration with commercial, financial, and supply chain processes.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Planning to build aligned demand projections and support Total Market IBP.

  • Support business planning cycles by preparing insights, scenarios, and recommendations.

Portfolio & Lifecycle Management

  • Develop and execute plans for new product introductions, SKU phase‑ins/phase‑outs, discontinuations, and SLOB management.

  • Ensure continuity of supply by proactively managing demand surges, supply disruptions, and mitigation plans.

Systems, Data Integrity & Compliance

  • Manage forecasting systems and planning tools, ensuring high data integrity and alignment with compliance standards.

  • Participate in ongoing enhancement of planning policies, processes, and procedures to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement dynamic forecasting models that adapt to market trends and seasonal fluctuations using advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to co-create demand strategies that anticipate customer needs and drive operational excellence.

  • Lead the development of interactive dashboards and visualization tools that transform complex demand data into actionable business intelligence.

  • Innovate inventory optimization techniques by integrating real-time data feeds and predictive algorithms to minimize waste and maximize service levels.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by experimenting with emerging technologies such as machine learning and blockchain to enhance demand planning accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics,

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand forecasting or related analytical roles,

  • Fundamental skills in data analysis and interpretation,

  • Experience with basic statistical software and data visualization tools,

  • Ability to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders,

  • Fluency in English.
