HybridWhat you will do
The Senior Finance Manager, Global Self Care will be responsible for leading financial analysis for the Global Self Care business with net trade sales of $6.6B annually. The Self Care business represents brands including Tylenol, Zyrtec, Nicorette, Motrin and Pepcid.
This position will partner with the Global Self Care segment lead and cross functional team including strategy, marketing and supply chain, and provide strategic and financial leadership in shaping and achieving financial goals for the Self Care brands globally, including leading a three-year operating plan and distorting resources towards areas of future growth. In addition, the role is responsible for leading and shaping innovation and business development initiatives through influencing cross functional resource allocation decisions to successfully deliver growth of the Self Care business.
The position has two direct reports including one manager and one senior financial analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership for the Self Care segment
- Partner with Self Care segment lead and cross functional team to shape the strategic growth agenda and deliver profitable growth for key priority markets
- Partner with portfolio management team and commercial team to shape innovation agenda and prioritize resources behind largest big bets
- Lead three-year operating plan for Self Care segment with a focus on identifying growth opportunities and shifting resources to maximize growth
Financial Analysis for Multiregional Projects
- Lead business case analysis for multi-regional big bets (projects stream 1, 2 and 3), ensure adherence to hurdle rates, work with the team to deliver the full potential of projects
Financial Planning and Reporting
- Oversee R&D and brand marketing expense budgets for Self Care segment, ensuring controls are in plan
People and Leadership Excellence
- Manage and mentor a global, cross-functional team, providing active coaching and support to foster professional development and achieve team goals
- Build and sustain a culture of collaboration and innovation while ensuring effective communication and alignment across regions
Strategic Partnership with Investor Relations and Competitive Intelligence Teams
- Prepare segment letters and review the quarterly segment performance
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA, CMA, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years of Finance/Accounting experience required
- 8+ years at the Finance Management level preferred
- Excellent analytical skills, superior communication, business partnering, problem solving, and prioritization skills required
- Ability to succeed in a matrixed, cross-functional environment and across all levels of the organization needed
- Self-motivated individual with demonstrated leadership, ability to work with senior management, people management and development skills preferred
- Strong people development skills required as individual is expected to be key driver of Finance organizational initiatives across the global Financial Planning & Reporting team
