What you will do

The Senior Manager Customer Development, Amazon is responsible for developing and executing strategic customer growth plans, delivering financial targets and managing ongoing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop consumption and shipment plans to deliver financial commitments internally and to the customer
  • Define, monitor, and assess key metrics to track progress and adjust the plan as needed to deliver results
  • Deliver industry leading profitable growth for Kenvue and Amazon through successful customer negotiations
  • Ensure strong connectivity with internal stakeholders (Media, Shopper, Marketing, Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Finance) to infuse customer insights and eCommerce knowledge into business planning and drive Amazon opportunities forward
  • Leads, shapes, and executes business plans to deliver sales results, including maximized volume potential, increased merchandising and media effectiveness, growth and brand share
  • Manages direct reports and is accountable for their talent management and development
  • Responsible for leading strong collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders and eCommerce team members, balancing needs of the brand with demands of the customer to deliver win-win scenarios, leaning on experts across stakeholder groups, and instilling followership in efforts to win with a highly dynamic/evolving customer
  • Be a subject matter expert in all demand drivers of the Amazon 1P business including, but not limited to price, promo, packaging/assortment levers, media/search, shopper
  • Develop and maintain the online channel portfolio of Kenvue items while balancing customer and Kenvue item profitability metrics
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting of monthly sales by franchise and brands.
  • Leads annual business planning process and leverages business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at top-to-top levels.
  • Serves as “voice of customer” to the company in order to address customer needs and accomplish goals and objectives, including launching new items and optimal path to purchase execution
  • Manages trade spend to stay within budget and to maximize ROI
  • Manages customer-specific scorecards to monitor sales progress and identify and close sales gaps
  • Coordinate, analyze, and draw conclusions from a variety of data sources such as customer POS, Amazon Vendor Central, Stackline, and Pacvue to independently discern trends and provide insights-based recommendations to influence strategies
  • Serve as a change agent within the eCommerce channel, at the customer, and internal Kenvue functions driving and instituting strategies that improve collaborative, innovative efforts that result in increased sales, profit and/or business productivity
  • Complies with company policies and procedures at all times

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights, or related field in a consumer products environment
  • Robust experience with data analysis; Ability to access, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from sales and customer data is required
  • Prior success negotiating with and influencing multiple levels of customer leadership
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen
  • Ability to build impactful presentations to explain recommendations and findings of analyses, resources, and studies.
  • Experience in leadership and development of direct reports
  • Ability to accurately forecast and predict business results.
  • Ability to work optimally within a fast-paced, sophisticated matrix and changing environment.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers up and down two or more levels, with and without direct authority, to ensure a fully aligned customer/company business plan.
  • Ability to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands.
  • This role will require up to 10% travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Robust Customer Development experience across multiple customers
  • eCommerce and Customer Strategy experience is preferred
  • Experience with syndicated eCommerce data systems preferred
  • Cross functional experience

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$152,150.00 - $214,800.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
