What you will do

The Senior Manager Sales Analytics is responsible for leading and supervising the sales analytics team, driving data-driven insights to support sales and marketing objectives, and collaborating with sales management to develop forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans that enhance sales performance and operational efficiency. You will also manage projects, mentor team members, and ensure alignment of analytics initiatives with business goals:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of advanced sales analytics frameworks and comprehensive strategies that support multi-product lines and diverse sales teams to drive strategic decision-making and revenue growth.
  • Supervise, mentor, recruit, train, and evaluate a dynamic sales analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and expertise in sales analytics, compensation, and performance enhancement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, product, and sales management teams to translate complex data insights into actionable sales initiatives and refine annual and quarterly sales plans based on data-driven insights.
  • Develop predictive models, dashboards, and detailed sales activity, productivity, and financial reports that anticipate market trends and customer behaviors, enabling proactive sales tactics and informed decision-making at all levels.
  • Champion the integration of emerging analytics technologies and methodologies to enhance sales performance measurement, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies across sales operations within the assigned territory while recommending and implementing policies, procedures, and organizational changes to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage resource allocation effectively to optimize team performance and sales outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional sales projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing sales effectiveness and market penetration.
  • Utilize market research and external data sources to identify customer trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in sales analytics or related roles
  • Fundamental proficiency in data analysis and synthesis to generate actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience mentoring teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Expertise in advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau, Power BI
  • Proficiency with BI tools including Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Proven project management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions with incomplete information
  • High ethical standards and leadership grounded in integrity and organizational values
  • Experience in sales or marketing environments, preferably within healthcare or consumer packaged goods sectors
  • Skilled in process improvement and implementation of efficient workflows
  • Competency in managing cross-functional teams, including those without direct reporting lines
  • Advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales force automation platforms
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex analyses and present findings to senior management with a results-oriented approach
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to translate complex datasets into compelling business narratives and actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organization
