This position reports to EMEA Translational Science RD and is based at Stattena, Helsingborg.

What you will do 

The Senior Scientist (Consumer Science) is responsible for leading foundational and applied consumer research for building the science around our iconic brands across three segments, Self Care, Skin Health and Beauty and Essential Health

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research, product design and optimization research, benchmarking studies, and consumer perceived claims validation studies that are strategically aligned with project teams
• Coordinate the execution of Consumer Science studies and act as liaison with research vendors in accordance with high ethical/quality standards and all applicable policies and procedures
• Play a consumer science claims subject matter expert role in understanding the relevant study methodology, translation of data into claims and building robust claims substantiation documents
• Partner across E2E R&D, commercial, legal and regulatory teams to accelerate innovation grounded on best-in-class consumer science
• Participate in global, cross functional teams, providing active scientific contributions and ensuring timeline adherence and project completion of claims approvals and corresponding studies
• Champion the Kenvue Human Centered Innovation mindset, claims process and claims system
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external scientific partners, to advance consumer research and development efforts

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, pharmacy or consumer research.
• At least 2 years of consumer/OTC (or equivalent) industry and/or relevant work experience.  Education to include scientific fields such as health sciences, biology, chemistry, sensory, pharmaceutical or consumer research is preferred.
• Experience in consumer research and/or claims substantiation
• Ability to collaborate, influence, manage routine processes, consider measured risks, and make decisions to drive project progress are critical components of the role.
• Must be able to work independently, think analytically, manage multiple complex tasks, while also being highly detail oriented and organized
• The ability to work in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams and have excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
