What You Will Do
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist – MRO & Facilities you will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies and contracting activities for a diverse set of indirect categories including MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), Facility Management Services, and smaller Capital Investments (non-strategic/low-medium complexity).
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across supply chain, engineering, and operations, as well as with suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and contracting activities for MRO, Facility Services (e.g. cleaning, HVAC, landscaping) and small Capex projects (e.g. equipment upgrades, minor refurbishments).
- Manage RFx processes and analyze supplier proposals.
- Support negotiations and contract execution with Legal and Finance.
- Maintain vendor data and oversee contract lifecycle management.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance to KPIs and service levels.
- Support regional procurement and category strategies through market research and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with local site leads, engineering, and maintenance teams to align business needs with sourcing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related roles (including R2P, legal, finance, or plant/facility coordination).
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience sourcing indirect categories, especially facilities, utilities, or maintenance services.
- Familiarity with small-scale Capex procurement.
- Exposure to contract templates, supplier evaluation tools, and procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Second European language proficiency.
