The Senior Talent Access Partner, University Recruiting plays a critical role in developing and executing innovative strategies to identify and engage early career talent from universities and colleges to join our teams. This role builds strong relationships with academic institutions, manages the full-cycle recruitment process for university candidates, and partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The University Recruiter serves as a brand ambassador, promoting Kenvue’s values and opportunities to students, faculty, and career centers, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
University Talent Strategy: partner with hiring managers and leaders to define needs, build robust talent pipelines, and shape hiring strategies to attract candidates that meet our talent needs.
Candidate Engagement: identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with candidates, fostering genuine connections and understanding their motivations and career aspirations.
University Engagement: build and maintain relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations to enhance employer brand and talent pipeline.
Brand Ambassador: organize and attend campus events, career fairs, and information sessions to promote opportunities and engage prospective candidates.
Talent Assessment: screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for internships, co-ops, and entry-level roles. Leverage new technology tools to scale best practice.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs, advise on job descriptions, facilitate the selection process, and program management, ensuring a seamless and high-touch experience for both candidates and our hiring managers.
Candidate Management: provide timely communication and feedback to candidates, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining engagement throughout the process.
Lead with Data: track and report recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in university recruiting efforts.
Market Expertise: stay informed on industry trends, talent movements, and competitive hiring landscapes to proactively adapt and improve campus recruitment strategies.
Compliance: with local employment regulations and company policies.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
3+ years of experience in university recruiting is preferred.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative recruiting strategies.
Ability to identify and attract top talent through various channels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and university partners.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.
Able to track and report on metrics, create presentations, and report to key stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
Experience recruiting top talent from North American universities.
Experience with Workday Recruit and Handshake preferred.
Familiarity with local employment regulations and compliance.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
