What you will do

  • Responsible for import activities to meet procedures and processes, ensures compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements including but not limited to trade compliance and customs regulations.

  • Drug license application for OTC/API, CIQ application for Cosmetics Products

  • Support Project Nexus – API importation

  • Communicate with relevant government functions, e.g. Customs (CIQ), FDA, etc., support external audit/inquiry

  • Trouble shooting for biz. Case such as Valuation, COO. FTA, Classification, Processing Trade, Bonded Zone, etc.

  • Support to identify benefits through tariff strategies, utilization of FTA/ US trade duty exemption and other trade programs to optimize benefits while limiting company’s custom risks

  • Data analytics including but not limited to duty/VAT and shipment information to support finance budget estimation and internal/external audit

  • Prepare for Standard procedures, process flow/ SOP and optimized current flow to improve E2E visibility/ traceability and customs/transportation efficiency

  • Provide Customs training to the organization on regulation, programs, procedures, and trade compliance.

  • Lead /Support AEO application/renew project and ensure AEO Compliance (pre-certification / post-certification), lead/support internal audit per Customs AEO standard.

  • Project management for Supply Chain related projects

  • Displayed professionalism in trade compliance, especially OTC/API import field

  • Provide professional and quick response to import/ export declaration and customs inquires/audit.

  • Cross function collaboration and communication enabling smooth daily workflow

  • Data management & improvement in systems for import and export operation, ensure data consistency in Customs/ FDA/ GSP
