What You Will Do
The Sourcing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services supporting Kenvue’s business operations — especially within the manufacturing and supply chain context. This position combines hands-on sourcing responsibilities with leadership and process improvement oversight. The role provides guidance to a team of sourcing specialists and ensures alignment with procurement policies, quality standards, and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals, ensuring timely and compliant procurement execution
- Oversee procurement of direct and indirect goods and services for the local manufacturing or operational sites
- Negotiate complex or high-value contracts, ensuring best-in-class terms for pricing, quality, and delivery
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and lead efforts to optimize the supplier base (e.g., consolidation or substitution)
- Create and evaluate formal bid packages for inventory and operational needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve procurement issues related to supplier deliveries, order discrepancies, pricing, and quality
- Educate internal stakeholders on sourcing strategies, alternatives, and supplier selection criteria
- Evaluate and improve sourcing processes to enhance speed, compliance, and value delivery
- Analyze market trends and identify risks or cost mitigation opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, and Finance
- Drive alignment with global and regional procurement strategies
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, including experience leading others or projects
- Proven track record of negotiating complex supplier contracts
- Strong command of English (both written and verbal)
- Solid understanding of sourcing processes, bid preparation, and supplier management
- Familiarity with ERP/SRM systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in procurement for manufacturing or supply chain operations
- Background in pharmaceutical, consumer goods, or related industries
- Fluency in an additional European language
- Experience with digital sourcing platforms or data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
