What you will do

The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for scheduling and managing appointments within your territory, meeting with new and existing customers to expand market share, securing sales through effective support and information, and continuously reviewing your sales performance to achieve targets. You will also collaborate with other departments and provide insights to support business and product planning:

Key Responsibilities

  • Forge and nurture dynamic client relationships by anticipating needs and delivering tailored strategic solutions that drive mutual growth.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to craft innovative campaign strategies that elevate brand presence and maximize client ROI.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and continuously analyze sales performance data to proactively identify market trends, advise clients on adaptive strategies, and recommend actionable adjustments to sales and marketing plans for sustained competitive advantage.
  • Champion seamless communication between clients and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met with creativity, precision, and effective resolution of customer issues and complaints.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members across account management and sales, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage and expand territories by scheduling and conducting appointments with new and existing clients to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review strategic sales and business plans, including sales incentive programs, departmental budgets, and quota assignments, to drive team performance and ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Negotiate and close sales orders while preparing accurate and competitive quotes tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor competitive activities and market trends, providing timely intelligence to inform business and product development decisions.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5 + years of progressive experience in account management, client-facing roles, or sales
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset with adaptability and continuous learning
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in strategic partnership development and key account management
  • Advanced proficiency in sales tools and applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficiency in leveraging CRM tools and analytics platforms to extract actionable insights
  • Strong analytical mindset balancing detailed operational tasks and strategic business objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and independent worker with strong commitment to business outcomes
  • Extensive knowledge of large account management strategies and experience collaborating with C-suite executives
  • Effective team player with proven skills in conflict resolution and customer relationship enhancement
  • Exceptional negotiation skills capable of engaging effectively with senior executives and diverse stakeholders
