Azure Power Platform Developer
Power Apps | Power BI | Power Automate | Microsoft Fabric
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Developer with over 5 years of experience to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade low-code solutions. You will be responsible for building complex Canvas and Model-driven apps, automating business processes, and integrating various data sources including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Databricks. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, advanced security implementation (RLS), and proven experience in ALM/CI-CD for seamless code migration.
Key Responsibilities
App Development: Design and build robust Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps from scratch, ensuring high performance and responsive UI/UX.
Workflow Automation: Utilize Power Automate to create complex business process flows, approval cycles, and multi-stage workflows.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and integrate Power BI reports within Power Apps; design semantic models and interactive dashboards.
Fabric Integration: Work within Microsoft Fabric to manage and transform data, utilizing its unified analytics environment for Power Platform solutions.
Data Architecture: Connect to and manage data from diverse sources including Databricks, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL as both source and target.
Security Implementation: Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI and Dataverse to ensure granular data access control.
Licensing & Governance: Advise on Power Platform licensing requirements for standard vs. premium connectors to optimize cost and compliance.
CI/CD: Lead application lifecycle management using GitHub Actions to automate solution exports, version control, and multi-environment deployments.
Experience & Education
• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade Power Apps applications
• Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple environments and complex requirements
Preferred Certifications
· Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
· Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).
· Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions is a plus.
