Job Title: Senior Director, T&D Contract & Asset Management

Position Summary:

The Senior Director, T&D Contract & Asset Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving excellence across all facets of post-contract management, vendor governance, and enterprise asset lifecycle management—covering hardware, software, and services. The role focuses on optimizing technology investments, strengthening strategic vendor partnerships, and aligning Tech & Data functions to business goals. This position leads the development of mature, data-driven processes for software asset management (SAM), service-level performance, and aged debt oversight, ensuring contractual and financial accountability across the IT vendor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance

    • Define and execute enterprise-wide strategies for IT contract and asset management in alignment with business and Tech & Data priorities.
    • Lead strategic partnerships with key technology providers, ensuring long-term alignment, innovation, and mutual value delivery.
    • Provide executive oversight of vendor governance frameworks, SLA enforcement, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and service excellence.

  • IT Asset & Software Asset Management

    • Establish end-to-end processes for IT asset lifecycle management (ITAM), including hardware, software, and cloud assets.
    • Lead enterprise software asset management (SAM) initiatives to ensure license compliance, usage optimization, and audit readiness.
    • Utilize data analytics to monitor asset performance, total cost of ownership, and lifecycle value realization.

  • Contract Lifecycle & Post-Contract Management

    • Oversee the full contract lifecycle post-signature, ensuring operationalization of terms, risk mitigation, and proactive renewal planning.
    • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Procurement to drive contract compliance, minimize liabilities, and optimize commercial terms.
    • Implement robust tools and controls for contract repository management, visibility, and audit readiness.

  • Vendor & Performance Management

    • Own the performance management strategy for IT vendors, including service reviews, KPI tracking, and remediation plans.
    • Lead SLA management and ensure contractual service levels are measured, reported, and met consistently.
    • Drive quarterly business reviews (QBRs), scorecards, and performance benchmarking for strategic suppliers.

  • Financial Oversight & Aged Debt Management

    • Lead financial governance of IT external spend, ensuring alignment to budgets, forecasting accuracy, and cost efficiency.
    • Oversee aged debt and invoice reconciliation processes, partnering with Finance and vendors to ensure timely resolution and payment integrity.
    • Identify and deliver opportunities for cost optimization, vendor consolidation, and demand management.
  • Transformation & Innovation

    • Champion automation, AI-driven insights, and technology adoption to streamline contract and asset processes.
    • Act as a change agent to mature IT vendor and asset management capabilities, introducing scalable governance and continuous improvement practices.
    • Influence IT leadership and business stakeholders to embed strategic vendor and asset planning into technology roadmaps
