Responsibilities
40% time – Data Science Strategy for Advanced Analytics for People Data
- Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to guide Kenvue towards advanced analytics solutions working closely with Center of Excellence Leads from across HR.
- Be Key Partner of Center of Excellence Leads to understand their problems, and evaluate how technology could solve those.
- Partner with cross functional teams like IT, Data Governance to formulate right process for Advanced Analytics Solutions in the company.
- Important part of role is to influence stakeholders towards optimal solution.
- As a Senior Manager, collaborating with and managing expectations of stakeholders is key.
- Flex your interpersonal skills to translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals.
60% time as Individual Contributor and managing team deliverables
- Collaborate with HR Center of Excellences and data engineering team to identify opportunities for predictive insights, and machine learning to drive business solutions.
- Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
- Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Utilize advanced analytics to solve business problems and drive measurable results.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
- Role will have few full time employees or contractors working under your guidance to deliver solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- At least 5 years’ experience in open source programming languages for large scale data analysis
- At least 5 years’ experience with designing and optimizing large scale machine learning models, implementing large and complex data pipelines and deploying models into production
- At least 5 years' experience utilizing cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Ability to apply statistical knowledge in deriving correlations, statistical significance of trends.
- Prior working experience on Databricks and Snowflake a plus.
