What you will do

The Strategy Analyst, Business Planning & Strategy will support the Head of Strategy, APAC in shaping, analyzing, communicating, and executing the regional strategic and business planning agenda.

The role provides analytical rigor, structured problem solving, and high‑quality decision support across strategic planning, business performance management, and cross‑functional initiatives, drawing on market analysis, data storytelling, and strategic frameworks.

This role is designed for a professional seeking deep exposure to APAC strategy, FMCG business dynamics, and executive‑level decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Business Planning Support

  • Support the annual and long‑range business planning processes by developing analyses, assumptions, and fact bases aligned with global and regional objectives.

  • Conduct market, category, brand, consumer, and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and strategic risks across APAC markets.

  • Support the development of strategic options, scenarios and business cases related to portfolio choices, innovation priorities, channel strategies, and market expansion.

  • Assist in designing and maintaining planning frameworks, templates, analytical tools, and tracking mechanisms to support consistent strategy execution.

  • Business Performance & Analytics

  • Support regional business performance reviews through KPI tracking, variance analysis, and synthesis of insights across markets and functions.

  • Translate complex data and analyses into clear, compelling strategic narratives and executive‑ready materials/presentations.

  • Partner with Finance and regional teams to support forecasting, planning, and performance governance activities.

Cross‑Functional Strategy Initiatives

  • Support cross‑functional and region‑wide initiatives, including growth acceleration, operating model evolution, and transformation programs.

  • Help coordinate inputs from local markets, regional functions, and global teams, synthesizing perspectives into coherent regional views.

  • Contribute to innovation, strategic problem‑solving, and ad‑hoc analyses driven by leadership priorities.

Executive & Leadership Enablement

  • Provide analytical and content support for leadership team meetings, strategic offsites, and executive communications.

  • Help prepare presentations, reports, and strategic materials for senior leadership forums.

  • Track follow‑up actions and key decisions to ensure alignment and execution across stakeholders.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy, business planning, consulting, market analysis, or commercial/financial analytics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to produce executive-quality outputs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate analysis into insights.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Exposure to FMCG, Consumer Health, or Retail sectors.

  • Experience working with multi-country or regional business environments, preferably in Asia-Pacific.

  • Familiarity with strategic planning, market assessment, and business case development.

  • Strong interest in data storytelling, visualization, and emerging analytics tools.

  • Ability to work independently and structure own workstreams.
