Please note that this is a fixed-term contract position, starting immediately and until June 2027.
As the QC Microbiology Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the QC Microbiology laboratory.
- Ensure microbiological testing is performed in accordance with approved procedures, GMP requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Review and approve laboratory data, investigations, and documentation.
- Manage environmental monitoring, water testing, and microbiological support for manufacturing operations.
- Support deviation investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
- Ensure laboratory personnel are trained, qualified, and performing activities safely and effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support production goals.
- Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in Quality Control Microbiology within a pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer health, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading teams and developing laboratory personnel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with environmental monitoring programs.
- Experience with deviation investigations and CAPA management.
- Knowledge of data integrity requirements and laboratory systems.
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audits.
