HybridWhat you will do
The Supply Planning Business Lead is responsible for ensuring the continuity of supply to meet the customer service goals for the assigned portfolio, deliver upon and optimize inventory projections, act as an initiator/facilitator for process improvements and standard methodology sharing within Supply Planning, and to lead cross-functional pivotal initiatives as assigned by the US OTC Planning Leadership Team. Additionally, the Planning Business Lead may supervise Sr. Supply Planners and/or Supply Co-ops depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Supporting supply network planning by leading a wide range of endeavors including, but not limited to, inventory management, sales and operations planning/IBP, short and long-term capacity planning, and identifying/implementing process improvements.
· Collaborating with management and appropriate internal teams on the current and future status of product supply for existing products, as well as for future launches.
· Raising any issues that will affect the organization’s ability to meet customer needs and/or fulfilling targeted supply plans.
· Develop strategic plans to guide portfolio reliability and ensure continued service for long term performance.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for any supply disruptions of the business unit.
· Accountability for inventory projections/modeling to meet target inventory levels.
· Supporting or leading special projects related to product launches, line extensions, and various supply chain initiatives.
· Providing operational inputs to the Business Planning Process and participating in the development of Annual Business Plans.
· Contribute to the development and optimization of ERP based planning processes and will be accountable for proven use of SAP ERP to improve department efficiency.
· Train, mentor, and supervise staff.
· Promote an environment of employee involvement in the workplace.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a focused degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
· A minimum of four (4) years of professional business experience is required, preferably in one or more of the following areas: Production Planning, Supply Chain Systems, Purchasing, Distribution, Manufacturing, and/or Transportation.
· Sophisticated knowledge of Excel (v-Lookups, Pivot tables, etc.)
· Strong SAP system knowledge
· Robust analytical and quantitative skills
· Strong decision-making and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
· Validated project management skills.
· Familiarity with (local) regulations, GMP, and/or ISO requirements.
· Experience with Tableau
· Six Sigma and APICS certification
· Experience demonstrating strong cross-functional business insight and ability to influence.
· Successful leadership, planning management expertise, and critical thinking
