Position description
In EMEA, planning is at the heart of our End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain transformation—enabling us to deliver reliable service, optimize inventory and cost, and strengthen operational resilience. As we advance our Planning Transformation journey, we focus on anticipating supply risks and disruptions, building digital and analytical capabilities, and fostering an agile, collaborative supply planning organization that turns complexity into competitive advantage.
As a member of the EMEA Global Planning Excellence (GPEX) team, the EMEA Business Process Owner (BPO) coordinator for Supply Planning (Finished Goods and / or Material management), plays a role in executing the EMEA Planning vision. This includes the adoption of advanced planning solutions (e.g., OMP, ONES4), strengthening standardized supply planning processes (Finished Goods and / or Material management), embedding robust governance, and supporting new ways of working across the region.
The BPO coordinator will continuously support the supply planning performance—improving plan reliability, inventory management, and constraint handling—while building and sustaining capabilities across markets. By translating strategic priorities into practical, executable solutions and supporting change adoption, the BPO coordinator ensures the EMEA supply planning community is aligned, disciplined, and equipped to deliver consistent, high-quality plans.
Key responsibilities
1. Process Execution & Continuous Improvement
Support the implementation and improvement of standard supply planning processes and ways of working.
Execute initiatives to improve plan quality, service levels, and inventory performance.
Identify process gaps and propose practical improvements based on data and business feedback.
Execute actions & initiatives in alignment with global BPOs to ensure consistency and standardization.
2. System - Tool Adoption & Data
- Support the deployment and adoption of planning tools (e.g., OMP, ONES4 or equivalent systems).
- Ensure proper usage of systems by local teams and act as a first point of support for process and system questions.
- Contribute to testing, validation, and continuous improvement of digital solutions.
- Support automation and reporting initiatives to enhance visibility and decision-making
- Support any discussion on master data & planning parameters aligned with our EMEA’s data council.
3. Capability Building & Training
- Support training sessions on supply planning processes, tools, and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the planning community (SOP, WI, playbook…).
- Participate / Coordinate in the Supply Planning Community of Practice, sharing insights and identifying improvement opportunities.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
- Collaborate with supply planning teams, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional partners.
- Support governance routines (e.g., performance reviews, issue tracking, action follow-up).
- Escalate risks and issues impacting supply plans in a timely manner to the right leaders.
Qualifications
Education:
- University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / MBA preferred
Experience:
- More than 7 years of Supply Chain area experience with, if possible, proven experience in Supply Planning & material management & master data.
Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:
- Deep process and systems knowledge of Supply Planning, Material Planning and Project Management
- Results-orientated, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team-player
- Strong business acumen & understanding of business dynamics. Understanding in manufacturing side is a plus.
- Proactive thinker with ability to see the big picture but being able to debate the details.
- Ability to influence at all levels within the Supply Chain & other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally.
- Excellent written and oral, communication, presentation & facilitation skills. Able to drive alignment or consensus though influencing.
- Self-starter, working independently and with minimal direction
- Good problem solving skills, establishes positive change
- Language Requirements: English
- Travel Requirements: up to 20% travel domestically and internationally.
