What you will do
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with APIs, data mapping and integration workflows, along with solid understanding of testing methodologies. This role works closely with integration architects and integration developers to ensure the integration works as per requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Document the business requirements related to system integrations, APIs, data exchanges and interface workflows.
· Work with integration architects to define the interface logic, error handling and orchestration workflows.
· Manage integration backlog, user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
· Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical integration solutions.
· Create detailed test plans and test case for integration, API, data mapping and end-to-end flows.
· Perform integration testing, API testing (REST/SOAP), regression testing and data validation.
· Use API testing tools (Postman, swagger, SOAP UI) to validate end points, Payload and error responses.
· Investigate, document and track the defects in integration flow during the support process.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a BA, QA or BA/QA.
Strong understanding of integration concepts: APIS, REST/SOAP services, webhooks, ETL, event-driven systems.
Experience with data mapping, JSON,XML and SQL for data validation.
Proficiency with testing tools like Postman, Swagger, SOAP UI.
Excellent requirement documentation and analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
Understanding of error handling, logging, retries and monitoring in integration systems.
Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g, MuleSoft, AWS Gateway etc) is a strong plus.
Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or event-based architectures.
Experience with cross-functional teams.
