HybridWhat you will do
The Tax Analyst (Mid-Level) – Compliance is responsible for enabling tax compliance and supporting business growth through robust processes, reliable data, and agile execution:
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (federal, state, municipal).
• Determine and calculate employment/payroll taxes and indirect taxes (e.g., ICMS, ISS, PIS/COFINS).
• Implement Brazil Tax Reform changes across master data, business rules, and controls with no business disruption.
• Review state and local tax records, reconciling to GL and trial balances by WD+5 with no material differences.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation and control evidence, targeting zero material findings.
• Monitor compliance KPIs (on-time filings, accuracy, reconciliations, audit findings) with monthly reporting cadence.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply, People, IT, and global partners to standardize processes and master data.
• Leverage digitization/automation (ERP/tax solutions/Power BI) to reduce tax close cycle time by ≥ 10%.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Solid experience in tax compliance (multinational experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation (ICMS, ISS, PIS/COFINS, ancillary obligations and payroll taxes).
• Hands-on experience with tax reconciliations, audit support, and regulatory change implementation.
• Proficiency with ERP and advanced Excel; exposure to tax solutions and data visualization (e.g., Power BI).
Desired Qualifications
• Intermediate/advanced English for global team interaction.
• Experience in control automation and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of master data architecture and data quality.
