Manager, Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting

What you will do

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Supervisory Functions:

  • Performs supervisory duties such as performance evaluation, talent development, succession planning, disciplinary actions, etc.

  • Cultivate growth through the development of high potential employees.

  • Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes.

  • Handle conflict and counsel employees that require disciplinary actions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate Fixed Assets processing, accounting, and reporting, operating within the Company’s guidelines.

  • Ensure the company’s fixed assets are properly maintained for corporate and tax books. This includes capitalization, disposals, and transfers.

  • Monitors completion of period-end closings, including FA to GL reconciliation and account analysis.

  • Identify and manage the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies, while maintaining strong internal controls.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant supervisory experience.

  • Must be a team player with drive, ambition, a positive attitude, and businesslike conduct.

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership by example and remain calm under pressure.

  • Possess analytical / problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate financial acumen.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks without supervision.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to prioritize and follow-through.

  • Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

  • Ability to maintain high degree of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality

  • Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the department.
