What you will do

  • What you will do 

    The Tech & Data Technician is responsible for performing basic analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance activities while providing technical support and resolving issues according to established procedures. You will assist in developing solutions, supporting systems, and collaborating with users to ensure operational integrity and satisfaction:  

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Assist in troubleshooting, optimizing data pipelines, and resolving less complex technical issues to ensure seamless data flow, operational integrity, and adherence to service level agreements. 

    • 1st and 2nd level Helpdesk service on all the plant application systems, handling Daisy requests and incidents. 

    • Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of anomalies related to the operating systems, complex software applications and hardware devices (barcode reader, cameras, industrial printers, tablets, Manufacturing, Logistic, Laboratories PCs) for the manufacturing plant. 

    • Create and run ad hoc queries and reports as requested by manufacturing systems’ end users. 

    • Support escalations as needed for new requests and delays against committed service request timelines. 

    • Ensure incidents are followed up if/when needed for root cause investigation and preventive actions. 

    • Document problems, resolutions, and provide status and progress reports to department management and business partners. 

    • Schedule and perform Server and DB patching, so that it has minimal impact on manufacturing. 

    • Do patching and hotfixes on applications, in collaboration with vendor and/or global application teams. 

    • Create and update documentation and/or internal training materials. 

    • Support the End-to-End IT risk management at the site including lifecycle management, information security and cybersecurity. 

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users to design, implement, and support innovative data collection, monitoring solutions, and IT systems that adhere to company standards and architectural guidelines. 

    • Contribute to feasibility studies, prepare detailed reports, and participate in project teams to support decision-making and solution development. 

    • Work with Q&C, creating and performing change controls and testing in different environments, assuring the execution of the proper Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for all the Pomezia GxP systems. 

    • Support internal and external audit requests, with data gathering and reporting. 

    • Demonstrate continuous knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors to improve team and individual performance. 

     

    What we are looking for 

    Required Qualifications 

    • 15 years of related experience in technical support, system analysis, or application development roles. 

    • Basic English. 

    • Basic understanding of analytics solutions and experience with data processing and integration tools. 

    • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. 

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. 

    • Proficiency in common office productivity tools and ability to document technical processes clearly. 

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and technical teams. 

    • Ability to provide Level 1 technical support and assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. 

    • Demonstrated capability to work under supervision while managing multiple tasks and priorities. 

    • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and contribute to team knowledge sharing. 

      

    Desired Qualifications 

    • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical thinking to solve complex technical challenges with minimal supervision. 

    • Proficiency in data visualization tools and scripting languages to create dynamic and insightful reports. 

    • Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn new methodologies in data management and technology integration. 

    • Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear, impactful narratives for diverse audiences. 

      

    What’s in it for you 

    • Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $35.000 to $45.000. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
