HybridWhat you will do
As Trade Customization Planning Specialist, this person will be part of Supply Chain team and is responsible for end-to-end planning for all trade customization and co-pack activities. The role reviews demand creates accurate supply planning and SAP Co-pack orders, and coordinates with external suppliers to ensure on-time, in full delivery. This person will work closely with Demand Planning and Project team to manage inventory, identify service risks, support Trade customization product discontinuation and maintain data and process accuracy across customization workflow. They will also be responsible for other supply-chain-related tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
End to End Trade Customization Planning & Execution
- Manage the full End to End process for trade customization and rework activities with suppliers to deliver optimal service, cost and lead time outcomes.
- Review demand for customized SKUs, validate assumptions with Demand Planning, and convert demand into accurate co-pack/rework supply planning orders.
- SAP Planning & Purchasing Processes
- Ensure all customization/rework orders are aligned to correct BOMs, GTINs, artwork references and pack specifications
- Supplier & Inventory coordination. Coordinate closely with suppliers on feasibility, capability, timing and component readiness.
- Monitor vendor-held component and FG inventory levels against forecasts and discontinuation plans.
- Identify service and supply risks early (e.g., stock-outs, component shortages, capacity constraints) and work with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Provide up-to-date visibility of customization status, risks, constraints and timelines to Demand Planning and Customer Supply Chain team.
- Support end-to-end discontinuation planning, ensure customization activities wind down in line with phase out timelines.
- Monitor excess or obsolete component inventory
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers through regular reviews of service level, accuracy, on-time execution and cost control
- Ensure suppliers receive complete, correct and timely instructions for every customization job.
- Manage SAP master data accuracy for customized SKUs, including BOMs, packaging spaces, GTIN/GSI and vender details.
- Partner closely with Planning, Sales, Marketing, Customer Collaboration, Logistics, QA and EM to ensure smooth execution of all customization and rework requirements.
- Support new product launches requiring customization by coordinating timelines, artwork availability, inventory requirements, and supplier readiness.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Preferred minimum education: University Degree qualification
- Preferred minimum education: Tertiary degree or equivalent work experience considered. Preferred area of study: Engineering, Math, Physics, Supply Chain
- Preferred related industry experience: Preferably FMCG
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a FMCG or Consumer Pharma company. Sales operation experience will be a plus to help build strong X-functional collaboration.
- Someone with ideas who is happy to share and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent numerical and data analysis skills.
- Proficient in SAP platform, Excel, Word.
- Someone enthusiastic and positive about finding the best outcomes
