What you will do

The TRADE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST  is responsible for providing in-depth analysis, supplier assessments, financial perspective, and market analysis to improve the supply chain and operations, while identifying cost-saving initiatives and implementing continuous improvement projects:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade operations strategies to optimize efficiency and cost control
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of trade operations and its costs.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster professional development
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade operations and its costs in alignment with business objectives
  • Represent the organization in discussions with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders
  • Drive operational excellence in import and export operations, from financial and operational perspective.
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational issues at regional level and collaborate with global teams
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture in trade operations

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in trade operations or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of logistics costs, customs regulations, and trade programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • English - Advanced level

Desired Qualifications

  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Financial acumen with knowledge of cost categorization in P&L statements
  • Familiarity with SAP and advanced tools for costs control, trade compliance and global trade operations management
