We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated - Transport Data & Freight Pay Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the analysis & maintenance of transport data and managing freight payment processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret transport data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into transport operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
Freight Payment Management:
- Oversee the freight payment process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to carriers and vendors.
- Implement and maintain systems for tracking and auditing freight payments.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to freight payments in a timely manner.
Freight Master Data Maintenance:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of freight master data.
- Regularly update and maintain freight master data in relevant systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data consistency and reliability.
Operational Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities to optimize transport operations and reduce costs
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Prepare and present reports on transport data and freight payment activities to senior management.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in international and domestic transportation, logistics, or data management & analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of global trade lanes, Incoterms, and international/ocean freight cost structures.
- Experience with TMS platforms & integration (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle OTM, CargoWise, Nexusinfo), pricing tools, freight data management and freight procurement & payment processes.
- Proficiency in English and strong communication & collaboration skills (internal & external).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
