What you will do
The Global MarTech organization is seeking for a strong Developer to join our Customer Data Platform team to build and maintain data orchestration pipelines. This individual requires to use specialized knowledge and skills, problem solving techniques, challenge the status quo, deliver innovation, and resolves how to best support the business through the effective use of technology. Primary responsibilities include operating as part of the Agile team, working alongside the Product Owner to understand the requirements, and translate these to a set of solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in architecture design, scoping, prioritization of technical requirements and solving complex data-related problems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in data engineering with working knowledge of SQL and data-oriented solutions (DWH, ETL, etc).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Specialized knowledge on ELT development using DBT (Data build tool) and RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) with SQL and Python programming.
- Familiar with team projects and collaboration using version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Proficient verbal and written skills in English is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, MapReduce, Hive/Pig, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with cloud-based or SaaS products and familiarity with digital marketing and marketing technology, e.g. TreasureData, Acquia, Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe AEP, Tealium AudienceStream, Segment, ActionIQ, etc.
- Strong working experience using English
