This position reports to the Senior Sales Director and is based in Neuss.

What you will do 

The role of the Commercial Director is to accelerate our Pharmacy channel strategy within Germany.  With focus on Pharmacy as a priority channel, this role will deliver the successful execution of our Go to Market Strategy, meet and exceed our OKR’s and shape our medium to longer term future plans with our customers and our talents. The successful candidate will be a people focused, courageous and results orientated leader, fully embracing an end to end and entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Focused on winning more consumers, building financial strength and a desire to unleash the power of our talents, the Commercial Directors key focus area’sof responsibilty will be:

  • Shape, set  & execute our Pharmacy Channel Vision and Strategy (Bricks and Mortar)  for Germany in short and medium term
  • Deliver superior market growth for spike / focus brands and customers.
    • Set and Deliver  Financial Acceleration Forecast & Targets, GP and cash flow  via superior execution of best in class customer partnerships and Go to Market Agenda. The GTM agenda comprises Optimized Customer Segmentation, Right and Perfect Store, RGM, Technological enablement, Customer and Shopper and Professional Excellence
    • Manage and allocate Channel People and Financial Budgets in accordance with  priorities balancing short and long term delivery.
    • Lead development and delivery of channel brand activation in line with portfolio prioritization and Go Market Agenda.
    • With end to end mindset, engage, influence and manage all senior stakeholders across organisation including EMEA leadership as required.

  • Establish superior external relationships with key customers and influencers in German market

  • Represent company as required at key Trade associations

  • Unleash the potential of Channel Talent by leading and shaping Talent Agenda. Set and define Standards for excellence and best practices.  Build and nuture teams. Lead by role - modelling Kenvue Standards of Excellence.

  • Lead and deliver monthly/ annual  business performance reviews to cluster management

  • Contribute to wider Germany sales success as a key member of leadership team undertaking wider leadership projects, deputising for Senior Sales Director as required.

He or she will have demonstrated

  • An outstanding track record of success in sales (Pharmacy channel is ideal, but not a must) with a minimum of 12 years experience.
  • Marketing, customer shopper, or ecommerce experiences are an advantage
  • Proven track record of people development.
  • International experiences will be an advantage

He or she will possess

  • Strong, resilient mindset
  • Ambition, Motivation and Inspirational qualities as a leader.
  • Superior communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in German and in English.
