The Global Brand Manager, Future Skin Healing is responsible for leading the development of 3-year innovation pipeline to deliver Aveeno’s strategic plan for Skin Healing initiatives and operating plan goals, with focus on body care. This position will own and drive development of new product concepts, claims, commercial innovation, and lifecycle management projects shaped by consumer & category insights and trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively lead cross-functional team to drive excellence in all aspects of product development from concept research to product design, packaging development and commercialization, to develop Aveeno’s future into Skin Healing.
- Steward Aveeno’s insights, concepts and communication brief direction Skin Healing NPI launches across our ecosystem of agencies and markets to deliver with excellence and drive relevance to the brand
- Build and effectively influence business activities and projects, including gaining alignment from key country partners and decision-makers to develop a novel and competitive portfolio architecture, covering critical category entry points in Skin Healing
- Develop 3-year claims roadmap, connected to clinicals and differentiated across platforms. This should showcase the understanding of trends, competitor dynamics and consumer appeal
- Build a high-performance environment and a culture of collaboration and innovation with cross function‐al partners and marketing counterparts across different regions, to support the Aveeno Face brand equity and innovation globally.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Prior innovation experience is required. Skin health category experience is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Consumer Packaged Goods experience is preferred.
- Prior skincare experience is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of key marketing data toolkit – Nielsen, insight methodologies, consumer testing protocols, financial data related to budgeting and forecasting
- Proven creative and aesthetic skills, with strong beauty eye and flair to create and execute winning new products.
- Proven brand business building, critical thinking, and marketing thought leadership—ability to craft ideas & recommendations based on consumer insights.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
- Proven ability to understand consumer targets and position a brand, project, and innovation development.
- Demonstrated communication skills and ability to influence key partners and decision makers without authority.
- Proven analytic skills and financial acuity in making effective business decisions.
