About the Role
We are looking for a Project Lead, External Manufacturing Procurement to join our Procurement organization and support our External Manufacturing (EM) network.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating key projects related to third-party manufacturers that produce finished goods across various product categories. Acting as the central point of coordination, you will partner closely with Procurement teams, Finance, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, deliver cost optimization initiatives, and support the financial management of the External Manufacturing organization.
This position offers a unique opportunity to combine project management, financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects initiated by the External Manufacturing Procurement organization, ensuring timely execution and delivery of objectives.
- Drive project governance, organize cross-functional meetings, monitor milestones, and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cost optimization and value creation initiatives, including supplier-related savings projects and strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Support the qualification and onboarding of new external manufacturing partners to improve business competitiveness and supply flexibility.
- Track, validate, and consolidate monthly financial results for the External Manufacturing organization.
- Analyze key financial metrics, cost trends, inflation impacts, and procurement performance indicators.
- Support monthly financial closing activities and ensure the accuracy of procurement-related financial reporting.
- Maintain and manage procurement data, reports, and legacy systems that support day-to-day business operations.
- Collaborate with global, regional, and local Procurement teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high-quality data, effective communication, and successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related business function.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze business and financial performance indicators.
- Experience supporting financial closing processes, cost analysis, savings tracking, or budgeting activities.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong capability to manage data-driven analyses and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
