Key Responsibilities
- Active participation in the microbiology laboratory routine related to the maintenance of microorganisms, promotion of growth, qualification of biological indicators, etc.
- Preparation for sterilization of materials, culture media, and reagents.
- Maintenance, qualification, and calibration of equipment.
- Strategy formulation in accelerated and long-term stability studies for cosmetic products in global projects.
- Conducting activities related to the qualification of pharmacopeial microbiological methodologies for finished products and raw materials.
- Development, review, and execution of microbiological qualification protocols and reports.
- Preparation and review of technical documentation and reports for microbiological qualifications.
- Structuring and managing quality records, such as investigations, CAPAs, and risk assessments.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the internal organization and global teams.
- Effectively collaborate with project members, adhering to priorities, checkpoints, and deadlines to support objectives.
- Maintain a proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to improve our processes.
- Manage and coordinate low and high complexity projects with cross-functional team and SMEs, report metrics, and interact with and/or lead cross-functional teams to implement projects.
- Work independently to drive technical resolutions.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A minimum degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food industry is required, with a strong background in microbiology.
- Proven experience in test method qualification, test method transfer, and laboratory investigations is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with advanced proficiency in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with consumer products, including self-care, skin care, skin cleansers, hair care, oral care, and/or baby care products, is highly preferred.
