The TRADE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is responsible for providing in-depth analysis, supplier assessments, financial perspective, and market analysis to improve the supply chain and operations, while identifying cost-saving initiatives and implementing continuous improvement projects:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade operations strategies to optimize efficiency and cost control
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of trade operations and its costs.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster professional development
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade operations and its costs in alignment with business objectives
- Represent the organization in discussions with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders
- Drive operational excellence in import and export operations, from financial and operational perspective.
- Serve as a point of contact for operational issues at regional level and collaborate with global teams
- Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture in trade operations
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in trade operations or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of logistics costs, customs regulations, and trade programs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- English - Advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Financial acumen with knowledge of cost categorization in P&L statements
- Familiarity with SAP and advanced tools for costs control, trade compliance and global trade operations management
