This position reports into Head of E-commerce and is based in Indonesia – Jakarta

What will you do    

The Associate Key Account Manager- E‑Commerce is responsible for managing and growing strategic online marketplace accounts to drive revenue, market share, and profitability. This role owns the end-to-end business performance of designated e-commerce platforms covering assortment, pricing, merchandising, campaigns, traffic generation, operations alignment and creator-driven commerce.

Key Responsibilities:  

Business & Revenue Management

  • Own revenue, GMV, and profitability targets for assigned e-commerce accounts.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies based on marketplace insights, competitive landscape, and category trends.
  • Conduct business reviews and provide insights-driven action plans.

Account & Platform Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for marketplace category managers and platform partners.
  • Negotiate deal terms, campaigns, platform exposure, co-marketing initiatives, and custom sales programs.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships to unlock platform opportunities.
  • Act as main liaison with marketplace category managers and social platform teams.
  • Negotiate campaigns, visibility, co-marketing, and platform programs.

Social Commerce & Creator Management

  • Oversee TikTok Shop / IG Shop operations, livestreaming initiatives, and creator/affiliate programs.
  • Recruit and optimize creators to maximize sales and ROI.

Assortment, Pricing & Merchandising

  • Manage online assortment strategy, including hero SKUs, new product launches, and exclusive bundles.
  • Ensure pricing competitiveness across channels while protecting margin.
  • Optimize product content, keywords, assets, and storefront merchandising to improve traffic & conversion.

Promotion & Campaign Execution

  • Plan end-to-end execution of marketplace mega campaigns, brand days, and tactical promotions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) for smooth execution.
  • Monitor real-time campaign performance and adjust to maximize results.

Demand Planning & Operations Coordination

  • Collaborate with supply chain to forecast demand and ensure healthy stock levels.
  • Monitor sell-through, inventory aging, and purchase order cycles.
  • Ensure operational excellence including penalty management, SLA performance, and logistics efficiency.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Analyse daily/weekly/monthly KPIs such as GMV, conversion rate, traffic, ASP, ROI and creator performance.
  • Use data insights to identify growth levers and problem areas.
  • Manage budgets for ads, promotions, and platform investments to optimize returns.

What we are looking for   

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years in e-commerce account management, marketplace operations, digital sales, or related field.
  • Strong experience handling key accounts on platforms like Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, or Lazada.
  • Proven results in achieving revenue targets and growing accounts.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, fast pace, execution-driven and dynamic marketplace behaviour.
  • Collaborative team player who works well cross-functionally.
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of P&L and margin drivers.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills.
  • Negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce tools, dashboards, and platform backend systems.
